The Akilah Institute for Women opened its first campus in January 2010. Akilah offers a 3-year Business Diploma with majors in Entrepreneurship; Hospitality Management; and Information Systems. Akilah’s unique transformational education model includes community service, private sector partnerships, mentoring, and career development. The rigorous and market-relevant curriculum ensures that students are prepared to begin their professional careers upon completing their studies. This year Akilah is opening its second campus in Rwanda and will celebrate its second graduation in November.
